Freight Market Challenges

June 16, 2021

Trucking capacity limitations, driver shortages, and robust industrial product demand are affecting shippers of goods across the country. Mississippi Lime is experiencing these same challenges and is working hard to mitigate the impact to our customers. However, due to the magnitude of the current situation both freight rates and product deliveries may be affected.

We ask that our customers consider the following:  timely order submittal, delivery window flexibility, and willingness to accept freight rate increases.  Together we can reduce the risks associated with this challenging environment.

Mississippi Lime’s dedicated in-house logistics team will continue to leverage our extensive carrier network to keep our customers supplied. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility and Mississippi Lime will continue to keep you informed.
