Lime for Soil Stabilization

In soil stabilization applications, high-calcium MLC™ Quicklime and MLC™ Hydrated Lime upgrade low-quality soils into usable base and sub-base materials, create a strong foundation that can bear weight. This includes construction for roads, airfields, and building foundations. In these applications, the high reactivity of MLC products create opportunities to enhance efficiency, lower costs, and reduce volumes required to achieve effective performance.  

Lime for Asphalt

In asphalt, MLC Hydrated Lime and CalCarb^® Calcium Carbonate offerings are used as anti-strip agents and functional fillers. CalCarb products are also utilized in the manufacture of roofing materials. 

Lime for Building Materials

In coatings, adhesives, sealants, mortars, and plasters, CalCarb® Calcium Carbonate and MicroCal® O Calcium Oxide are valued for their unique characteristics, as a result of end-use requirements for bond strength, mechanical properties, moisture resistance, brightness, and viscosity control.
