This includes our tuition reimbursement program, available to all fulltime employees, as well as an apprenticeship program to provide pathways to new career fields. 

We are also focused on sparking engagement and promoting careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) for the next generation. 

  • Co-op program for college students, providing real-world, hands-on experience for a semester at one of MLC’s sites, in fields such as chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, geology, and mining engineering, with benefits that include housing 
  • Mentorship through organizations such as the St. Louis United Way Women’s Leadership Society Mentorship Program 
  • Over $35,000 per year in Harry B. Mathews Awards scholarships to qualified dependents of employees (5 students selected each year)
