The Mississippi River flood recently reached a crest and levels have started to drop. However, the rate of descent is lower than previously forecasted by the National Weather Service. Due to the continued flood conditions, Mississippi Lime remains in a force majeure event. The conditions are expected to prevail, affecting both rail and barge logistics, until mid-to-late July. Our force majeure event and protocol will remain in effect until further notice.

Mississippi Lime expects to be able to continue supplying products to our customers, but with continued delays and costs that have been previously communicated.

We apologize for any challenges the flood event may have caused.  We will continue to monitor the situation and work diligently to keep our customers informed and supplied, as and where possible, until the flooding completely recedes and the force majeure event ceases.
