Mississippi Lime Company Completes Acquisition of Transload Terminal in Kansas
September 15, 2020ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Mississippi Lime Company announced three organizational changes that resulted in promotions for Tom French, John Kunz, and Collins Alexander.
Tom French has been named Mine Operations Manager. He achieved his CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) certification as well as certifications in vibration thermography, ultrasonics, and supervision, all from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, as well as a Chancellor’s Certificate in management. Tom has been with Mississippi Lime for the past 35 years holding various positions of increased responsibility in operations and leadership. Most recently, he held the position of Site Reliability Process Leader.
John Kunz has been named Operational Excellence Manager. He holds several professional certificates including CPIM, CSCP and CLTD through APICS and both Greenbelt and Blackbelt certificates through ASQ. In his career, John has worked in operations, inventory management and process improvement in a broad spectrum of industries. He has a B.S. degree in operations management from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a master’s degree in decisions sciences from St. Louis University. He joined Mississippi Lime in 2011.
Collins Alexander was named Reliability Team Leader. He has a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in reliability from the University of Tennessee. He is a CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) and has successfully completed certifications in vibration, thermography and ultrasonics. He joined Mississippi Lime in 2017.
